Sic transit gloria mundi

"How many years can a mountain exist,
before it is washed to the sea?
How many years can some people exist,
before they're allowed to be free?
And how many times can a man turn his head,
and pretend that he just doesn't see?

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind."

I was listening to some Dylan today thinking this was poetically applicaple to todays economic climate, which reminded me of swords crossed! Seems "my" theory of an emerging social conscious created through globalisation and catalyzed into revolt by an unjust society primarily based on a fundementaly flawed economic system is begining to take shape. From what I can tell anyway, I don't really bother with social matters much these days and I try to stay away from news and current affairs, but even I couldn't miss the protests/unrest/movements which have been going on globably in the last couple of years.

So what do you guys think? Are these outbursts just the result of a few disgruntled anti-establishment types, or, as I believe, the beginning of the end to an ineffeceint inhumane system of oppression?
